UC Cross Campus Enrollment Website
Overview
The University of California Cross Campus Enrollment website offers students a way to enroll in courses online.
Problem
The University of California wanted to offer courses online to students who were away from campus during summer or winter break. The UC System needed to develop a custom platform to provide these courses to their students.
Role
My role, as an in-house designer at a digital agency, was to produce wireframes and visual designs based on the UX research and documentation provided by the client. The final designs and documentation will be handed off to the client’s internal development team.

Wireframes
The wireframes provided a way to review the structure of the content throughout the different sections of the website. Reviewing these screens helped us identify any of the challenges the client’s internal development team might notice.

Visual designs
After approval of page content and functionality I began working on high-fidelity designs to incorporate the UC brand.

Style guide
Since I was not going to be working directly with the internal development team after completing the designs, I produced a style guide to document layout, typography and colors. The style guide also helped the development team identify colors with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 to help make the interface more legible for users with low vision or color deficiencies.
